Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience recruiting for U.S.-based clients and familiarity with remote/international recruiting.
  • Exceptional English (written and verbal) and ability to work in EST hours.

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
  • Build and manage a local recruitment team, including freelance recruiters and sourcing specialists as needed.
  • Create and maintain candidate pipelines for Tech roles (e.g., Full stack, Frontend, Cyber security, AI Engineers, etc.).
  • Implement and optimize ATS tools, assessments, and scorecards to ensure consistent candidate evaluation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
  • Build and manage a local recruitment team, including freelance recruiters and sourcing specialists as needed.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations team to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective recruitment strategies.
  • Create and maintain candidate pipelines for Tech roles (e.g., Full stack, Frontend, Agentic ai, Cyber security, AI Engineers, etc.).
  • Oversee hiring compliance and advise on best practices in employment standards.
  • Implement and optimize ATS tools, assessments, and scorecards to ensure consistent candidate evaluation.
  • Maintain key hiring KPIs (time to fill, quality of hire, candidate satisfaction).
  • Represent the company at local job fairs or networking events, when relevant.

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume or international settings.
  • Based in Nigeria with deep knowledge of the local labor market and talent pools.
  • Exceptional English, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms
  • Prior experience in remote or international recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting for U.S.-based clients.
  • Understanding of Nigerian labor laws and employment classifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • A bias toward action and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Ability to work EST
