JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A MOBILE FRONT- END DEVELOPER
We are looking for a Mobile Front End Developer to help convert our existing web application into a mobile application. This role is open to junior developers who are willing and eager to learn, with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities as a Mobile Front-End Developer
• Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Convert an existing web application into a mobile application
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and design teams to implement features and ensure consistency across platforms
• Integrate mobile applications with existing APIs and services
• Ensure application performance, stability, and usability on mobile devices
• Debug, test, and improve application performance and usability
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Strong programming fundamentals and good problem-solving skills
• Experience building applications through coursework, personal projects, or work experience
• Willingness to learn and apply mobile development best practices
• Familiarity with integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs
• Understanding of frontend concepts (components, state management, APIs)
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
● Familiarity with at least one mobile development approach or framework, such as:
○ React Native
○ Flutter
○ Swift (iOS) or Kotlin / Java (Android)
● Experience with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or similar frameworks
● Experience using TypeScript
● Familiarity with Google Maps APIs or other location-based services
● Experience working on applications that share logic across web and mobile
● Understanding of web frontend architecture and performance considerations
● Experience working with teams maintaining both web and mobile applications
