Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 1-2 years of sales experience in food, drink, FMCG, or wholesale; or a high school diploma with strong sales and food experience
  • Fluency in French and advanced English
  • Based in, or willing to work remotely from, Bordeaux/Toulouse/Nantes; preferably living in the Bordeaux area and able to cover the West region (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, Bretagne)
  • Strong adaptability, perseverance, and excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Develop sales plans, establish call/visit plans and journey strategies, and create end-user profiles for the designated regions (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, Bretagne)
  • Produce periodic sales reports and maintain accurate records on end-user visits, including sales performance KPIs
  • Identify and realize new business opportunities across accounts; plan and execute sales promotions and permanent listings in collaboration with the marketing team to meet targets
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through product availability, timely communication, accurate ordering, order tracking/expediting, following up on accounts, and training kitchen staff on proper storage, handling and frying procedures

Job description

The Field Sales Representative is accountable for the promotion and sales of the full range of Lamb Weston products. You will be responsible for all local food services establishments in west area mainly in Nouvelle Aquitaine, Occitanie & Bretagne.

In this role you report directly to the France SP Manager and National Account Manager West. You will become part of the French Sales team. This is a remote role, you will be based in Bordeaux, Toulouse or Nantes.

What you will do

  • Develop sales plans, establish call and visit/journey plans and strategies, develop end-users profiles for the relevant market/area;
  • Produce periodical sales reports and accurate records on end-users visits, including the sales performance KPIs;
  • Identify and realize new business opportunities across the portfolio of accounts and as to agreed new business targets;
  • Plan and execute sales promotions and permanent listings, working together with the marketing team;
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through optimal availability, timely communication, placing accurate orders, tracking and expediting orders and following up on accounts;
  • Coach, motivate, train and lead our customers in their knowledge of our products and their features and benefits to allow them to sell our products to a highly successful standard;
  • Train kitchen staff in correct storage, handling and frying procedures for our products;
  • Contribute to the professional organization and representation of Lamb Weston EMEA at general or customer exhibitions.

What do you bring to the table?

  • A Bachelor or Master degree with one or two years of experience in sales, preferably in food, drink, FMCG or Wholesale company or a high school diploma with strong experience in sales and food;
  • Preferably living in Bordeaux Area;
  • Fluency in French and advanced in English.

As a Field Sales Representative you are able to adapt change and bring in out of the box solutions. Furthermore you are perseverant and a strong personality. Of course you have excellent communication skills and you know how to build relationships with different types of people.
