  • Manage current customers and develop new business in the marine new-building industry; process sales orders, respond to complex customer inquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within authority, and meet revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, address customer needs, provide ongoing support, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities; gather insights to inform sales strategies
  • Develop long-term sales plans for key customers/accounts and monitor/adapt sales activities to meet objectives
  • Identify, research and contact prospective customers and build relationships that generate future sales and repeat business

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage current customers and new business/ customer development in marine new building industry in corresponding area.
  • Process sales orders; Respond to more complex customer enquiries, negotiate  prices and delivery times within limits of authority, meet revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing needs of customers, providing ongoing support, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, gather insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Develop long-term sales plans for key customers/accounts and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met.
  • Identify, research and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Establish annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities according to Hempel’s guidelines so targets are met

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of an undergraduate degree
  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a related (coating or marine) industry or B2B sales experience.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.Proactively engage with existing customers to maintain strong relationships, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to customers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using sales software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools, such as Power BI. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Adaptability: Can adapt to high-intensity working pressure environment and irregular working hours.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to handle customer complaints can quickly and effectively solve the complaints between customers and internal departments.
