Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting
5+ years of VAT/Indirect Tax experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate in-house
Deep understanding of Singapore GST and its impact on the global supply chain
Experience preparing and submitting Singapore VAT/GST returns and collaborating with stakeholders on expansions into new markets
Requirements:
Lead APAC Indirect Tax compliance and planning with a strong focus on Singapore GST, ensuring alignment with global supply chain requirements
Monitor local VAT/GST laws across APAC, ensure global compliance, and submit new registrations as needed; determine tax impact on cross-country inventory movements
Review and prepare APAC VAT/GST returns (including Australia and New Zealand for B2B and B2C) and manage interactions with tax authorities during audits or inquiries
Identify and implement process improvements in indirect tax reporting using technology, and lead ad hoc tax projects as needed

What you'll be doing:
Experience in APAC Indirect Tax compliance and planning, with a strong background in Singapore GST
Experience managing MES – Major Exporter Scheme
Specific focus on APAC region, with an emphasis in Singapore.
Deep understanding of the VAT, and specifically Singapore GST impacts around the global supply chain cycle, develop NVIDIA business, including sales operations, and advisor, relationships. Including, determine the tax impact on cross-country inventory movements.
Monitor local laws and rules to ensure global compliance and submit new VAT/GST registrations as needed.
Use best practices technology solutions to develop, improve and implement process improvements within indirect tax reporting function.
Review, prepare other APAC VAT/GST returns, including Australia and New Zealand for B2B and B2C sales.
Ad hoc indirect tax projects, as needed.
