About the team

We’re the Eneba Engineering team. We bring together product-minded engineers, tech leads, and managers who are passionate about building and maintaining a stable, scalable marketplace for gamers. Our mission is to keep Eneba running smoothly while enabling steady, iterative growth. We focus on reliability, clear ownership, and pragmatic engineering that serves real business needs.

We intentionally maintain a lean, highly efficient core team that knows the platform inside out and takes long-term ownership of its evolution. Our engineers work closely with product, data, and other functions to deliver well-crafted solutions, document them thoroughly, and ensure continuity as people onboard, grow, and rotate between projects.

The engineering organization spans backend, frontend, and platform competencies, and is responsible for keeping Eneba’s technology robust, secure, and dependable — while remaining flexible enough to support future initiatives as they emerge.


Responsibilities
  • Own the overall stability, reliability, and efficiency of Eneba’s core technology, ensuring the platform runs smoothly while continuing to evolve iteratively over time.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a lean core of engineering managers and tech leads fostering a culture of accountability, knowledge sharing, and strong technical ownership.
  • Maintain and continuously improve engineering practices, processes, and documentation so that teams can onboard quickly, rotate between projects, and keep the “machine” well oiled despite ongoing growth.
  • Collaborate closely with product, data, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical priorities that optimize for long-term maintainability over constant reinvention.
  • Anticipate scaling and stability risks (e.g., headcount changes, new projects, or shifts in focus) and proactively prepare the platform, architecture, and teams to handle them with minimal disruption.
  • Ensure a high bar for code quality, security, and operational excellence, while keeping the organization lean and efficient rather than growing the team unnecessarily.
  • Create an environment where Eneba can safely experiment with new practices and technologies that improve efficiency or enable future projects when needed, without compromising the stability of the existing platform.

  • Requirements

  • Experience building and nurturing lean, high-performing engineering teams, including mentoring engineering managers and senior leads and developing talent over multiple years.
  • Ability to bring structure, documentation and continuity, ensuring knowledge is retained and systems remain well understood.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to align with product and business leaders and represent engineering in strategic discussions.
  • Comfortable operating without rigid long-term roadmaps, instead preparing the organization for likely challenges through judgment, experience, and incremental improvement.
  • Experience working in or with multi-product or multi-project organizations is highly desirable.
