Position Overview: The Quality Coordinator ensures consistent standards across pharmacy networks and software systems by developing and executing thorough test plans, documenting results, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

A Quality Coordinator ensures that products or services meet consistent standards of quality. Their responsibilities often include:

  • Inspecting and Testing: Performing inspections and tests at various stages of plan design and pharmacy networks to identify defects or issues.
  • Developing Standards: Creating and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying workflow or production issues and proposing solutions.
  • Documentation: Recording processes and documentation to support PLAD and Business Architecture.
  • Training: Educating team members on quality standards and inspection processes.
  • Test Planning: Develop comprehensive software test plans outlining strategies, objectives, and resources.
  • Test Execution: Design and execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure software functionality.
  • Defect Reporting: Document and report software defects, collaborating with software provider to resolve issues.
  • Regression Testing: Verify that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Quality Metrics: Monitor and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets user needs.


What You Will Bring to MedOne:

  • An associate’s degree in a relevant field 
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) environment, with preferred experience in claims processing systems, plan design system implementation, or pharmacy network system management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards is highly preferred

Location: We have offices in Dubuque, IA and Kansas City, KS; however, we are open to fully remote candidates within the United States.

Employment Type: Full Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt Position
