Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as sales specialist based in Scotland. You’ll drive growth across our temporary power business by securing new customers, expanding existing relationships, and delivering critical power solutions that keep industries moving.

What you’ll do as sales specialist:

  • Identify and acquire new customers across the construction sector requiring temporary power solutions

  • Meet and exceed sales and bookings targets for generators, power packages and associated services

  • Develop strategies to expand market reach, convert competitor accounts and build long‑term partnerships

  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure seamless delivery of power solutions

  • Manage key accounts, deepen relationships and support national account development

  

You are: 

  • Experienced in technical or solution‑based selling environments

  • Temporary power or equipment hire experience

  • Customer‑focused, with proven ability to build trust and influence decision‑makers

  • Organised, proactive and able to manage your own pipeline effectively

  • A confident presenter who can handle objections and uncover customer needs

  • Comfortable using CRM tools to track leads, opportunities and customer interactions
