Job description

The Senior Business Development Recruiter will drive national growth by identifying, attracting, and hiring high-producing Loan Officers, Branch Managers, Regional and Divisional Leaders and mortgage teams across key markets. This role partners closely with regional and executive leadership to execute strategic recruiting initiatives, build strong industry relationships, and expand the company’s national footprint. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in mortgage recruiting, deep industry connections and the ability to proactively source top talent in a competitive landscape.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead front-cycle recruiting efforts for qualified producers/teams nationwide
  • Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans to support national expansion and market growth goals
  • Proactively source high-producing mortgage professionals through industry networks, referrals, events, and direct outreach
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates in key target markets
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities and align recruiting strategies with business objectives
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and evaluate candidates based on production history, cultural fit, and long-term growth potential
  • Present competitive offers and manage negotiations through acceptance and onboarding
  • Track recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and market intelligence to inform leadership and improve performance
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and market compensation structures
  • Represent the organization professionally at industry conferences, networking events, and recruiting initiatives
