This position is responsible for investigating the status of property titles during real estate transactions, ensuring that a property is free of any obstacles that could jeopardize a sale or interfere with a buyers rights to the property. This position is responsible for typing the commitment and preparing and sending out final title policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare title commitments
Examine various documentation to verify factors such as properties’ legal descriptions, ownership, or restriction
Search real estate records, examine titles, or summarize pertinent legal or insurance documents or details
Report findings to escrow team so possible issues can be resolved before sales are completed
Assist in claim investigation with the underwriting council
Prepare title policies
Assist in remittance if needed at end of month and year
