Business Intelligence Developer (SAP BO & Power BI)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in SAP Business Objects, Power BI, and Azure SQL based reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP BO 4.3, universe design (UDT & IDT), report migration projects, and modern BI platform transitions including SSRS to Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects 4.3 (Web Intelligence).

Develop and maintain universes using UDT (Universe Design Tool) and IDT (Information Design Tool).

Convert legacy Oracle-based universes into SQL-based universes to improve performance and maintainability.

Write complex queries using Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL Server (SSMS).

Develop and maintain reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).

Lead and execute migration of SSRS reports to Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.

Build interactive dashboards and data models in Power BI.

Manage and deploy reports using Power BI Service / Workspaces, including workspace governance and access control.

Optimize report performance and data models across SAP BO and Power BI environments.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Support Azure-based data environments and reporting integrations.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.

· Ability work on a technical team in communicating concepts and technical implementation of concepts.
