  • Map user intent to keyword strategy and oversee content creation through briefs, metadata, schema markup, and on-page optimizations.
  • Build and execute high-quality backlink strategies via PR, partnerships, and earned media; monitor backlink health.

Job description

This is a remote position.

We’re seeking a highly motivated SEO Specialist to lead and execute SEO initiatives across strategy, technical optimization, content, and off-page efforts. This role will play a key part in shaping our digital growth engine by aligning SEO strategies with business goals, driving performance across channels, and enabling scalable site and content structures.

What You'll Do:

Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and manage the SEO strategy and roadmap, aligned with quarterly OKRs and business objectives.

  • Maintain a 90-day rolling backlog of SEO initiatives, prioritizing for impact and feasibility.

  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns across SEO, inbound marketing, and digital channels where relevant (e.g., social media, content syndication, display).

Technical SEO
  • Own and improve site architecture, taxonomy, internal linking, and SEO-friendly templates (PLP, PDP, blog).

  • Execute crawl/indexation strategies including canonicals, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, hreflang, and JavaScript SEO.

  • Lead site performance improvements: Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and platform migrations.

On-Page SEO & Content
  • Map user intent to keyword strategy and oversee content creation through briefs, metadata, schema markup, and on-page optimizations.

  • Establish a scalable publishing cadence that aligns with business priorities and search demand.

  • Optimize landing pages and content to drive both rankings and conversion.

Off-Page SEO & Digital PR
  • Build and execute high-quality backlink strategies via PR, partnerships, and earned media.

  • Monitor backlink profile health and proactively manage link risk.

Performance Measurement & Iteration
  • Track and analyze SEO performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and keyword rank tracking tools.

  • Run experiments and testing programs to optimize content, targeting, and site performance.

  • Communicate insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

Cross-Functional Enablement
  • Develop SEO playbooks, guidelines, and guardrails for internal teams (Content, Design, Engineering, Merchandising).

  • Collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners or clients when applicable.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and proactively contribute thought leadership via case studies, blog posts, or internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a growth-focused or enterprise environment.

  • Deep understanding of core SEO concepts: technical SEO, content strategy, link building, and performance analysis.

  • Experience with modern SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc.

  • Familiarity with website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, headless CMSs) and basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders.

  • Understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) and their SEO implications.

  • Proven experience managing or collaborating on digital marketing campaigns across channels (e.g., inbound, display, social).

  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools and experimentation frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of content marketing, copywriting, and audience segmentation.


  • Shift: Monday to Friday / 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Time
