Job description

This is a remote position.

Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Senior Technical Lead with 8+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex. You will lead the technical delivery of Salesforce solutions within the Retirement Strategy Institutional Technology team, collaborating closely with business and engineering stakeholders to design, build, and scale next-generation customer service systems.

This role demands deep technical capability, clean coding practices, and leadership through technical excellence—not management layers. You will serve as the trusted Salesforce expert driving architecture, development, and integration with cloud-native platforms such as AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution design and development using LWC, Apex, Flows, and integration APIs.
Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code aligned with best practices and internal standards.
Design and implement complex business logic and integrations across Salesforce and Prudential’s technology ecosystem.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile delivery environments to ensure smooth and continuous delivery.
Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Mentor junior developers and drive technical excellence across the team.
Contribute to architecture discussions involving high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions.

Requirements

8+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience.
Proven hands-on expertise in LWC, Apex (Triggers, Batch, Async Apex), Flows, and REST APIs.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud (Sales Cloud a plus).
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, GitHub, and Jenkins.
Good understanding of AWS services (S3, EC2, Kinesis, IAM) and integration mechanisms.
Solid grasp of security standards (OAuth, SAML, SSL) and enterprise-grade authentication.
Strong grounding in Domain Driven Design (DDD) and software architecture principles.
Salesforce and AWS certifications — mandatory.
Financial / Insurance domain experience — mandatory.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
Experience with Vlocity / Omnistudio is a plus.
