3-4 years of experience translating and reviewing content in Software, Mobile Apps, UI, and Marketing
Proficiency with translation terminology tools or willingness to learn new tools, and understanding of glossaries, TM, instructions, and style guides
Native or expert fluency in Kurdish (Sorani and/or Kurmanji) with strong English comprehension
Experience working in a multi-vendor remote environment (a plus)
Requirements:

Work with content types including UI, Marketing, and Social Media
Use the client's CAT tool (and any company-provided CAT tools) to translate, maintain terminology consistency, and adhere to glossaries, TM, and style guides
Meet an expected capacity of 2000 to 3000 words per week and participate in feedback sessions to support learning and quality improvement

This is a remote position.
We are looking for several English to Kurdish-Sorani and English to Kurdish-Kurmanji freelance linguist to join our growing team for one of our global clients. They will take ownership of the incoming work on this account and will actively contribute to the success of the program.
MAIN DUTIES
Translate and review content from into Kurdish with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is accurate, readable and understandable to target audience.
Content types: UI/Marketing/Social media
CAT Tool: Client has it's won CAT tool for translation.
Expected capacity: 2000 to 3000 words per week
Requirements
Minimum 3-4 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter i.e Software, Mobile Apps,UI and Marketing.
Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools or willing to learn new tools.
Understand the uses and importance of Glossaries, TM, Instructions and Style Guide.
Native and Expert fluency in the target language.
Open to feedback. This is an interactive account and performance and quality feedback will be provided for learning and development
Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind their translation skills.
Excellent communications and comprehension skills of English Source.
Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent is a plus.
Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario is a plus.
