Health Science Adjunct - Human Genetics & Genomics Description

South College seeks applicants who are knowledgeable about, but not limited to, the following areas of Human Genetics and Genomics:

• Gene structure and function
• The manner in which traits and diseases are transmitted from parents to children
• The molecular basis of human traits and diseases

Candidates must show evidence the following:

Education

• A minimum of an acceptable master’s degree in the specific subject matter field (doctorate preferred) 

OR 

• An earned master’s or doctoral degree and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in subject matter field and

Experience

• Experience teaching similar courses at a higher education institute.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online.
