Business Development Executive / Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in B2B sales, marketing or customer relations
  • Experience in handling international clients is a must
  • B. Tech in Mechanical, Civil or EEE Engineering will be an add on
  • BIM/CAD domain sales experience is preferred

Requirements:

  • Function as the point of contact to clients during the pre-sales phase, participate in subcontractor pre-qualification, respond to RFPs and bid requests, and conduct meetings with clients for scope discussions, queries resolution and sales closing.
  • Study architectural/MEP drawings to understand the scope of work for BIM and Engineering services.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs; actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Establish and nurture social media connections with key players and decision-makers of existing and prospective accounts to market and capture interest in the company's services.

Job description

This is a remote position.

  • Function as the Point of Contact to clients during pre-sales phase. Participate in subcontractor pre-qualification process and respond to RFPs and bid requests. Conduct meetings with clients for scope discussion, queries resolution and sales closing.
  • Study architectural/ MEP drawings to understand the scope of work for BIM and Engineering services.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Establish and nurture social media connections with key players and decision makers of existing and prospective business accounts. Market and capture their interest in the services offered by the company.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their requirements and concerns.
  • Proposal creation. Review the purchase orders, sales contracts and other agreements from clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions of sale.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on services.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Act as a bridge between the client and internal technical teams.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements & innovations in the AEC industry.


Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in B2B sales, marketing or customer relations
  • Experience in handling international clients is a must
  • B. Tech in Mechanical, Civil or EEE Engineering will be an add on
  • BIM/CAD domain sales experience is preferred
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships
  • Functional knowledge of standard sales practices and strategies
