About the Role:

As a Remote Bookkeeper, you will handle a law firm's day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. Working from the comfort of your home, you'll be the backbone of our financial operations, from billing and accounts management to payroll and reporting. This is a contract position requiring 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and manage client accounts, handle invoicing.
2. Oversee monthly retainer billing and issue final statements.
3. Process payments, prepare bank deposits, and maintain daily financial records.
4. Perform account reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting.
5. Handle payroll and all expense transactions.
6. Ensure financial records are accurate and compliant.
7. Collaborate with our team for financial planning and insights.

Contract Type: International Service Provision

As the hiring company, we will not assume any payment for social security or taxes that each contractor is responsible for in accordance with Colombian laws and regulations.



Requirements

Qualifications:

- Experience in bookkeeping; experience in a law firm is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good English communication skills.
