Requirements:

  • Monitor on-time delivery performance across parcel carriers and drive corrective actions for recurring service failures
  • Translate carrier performance analytics into actionable operational improvements and maintain carrier performance scorecards
  • Oversee claims governance and resolution, mitigate service failures, and collaborate with Finance to ensure invoice accuracy and cost alignment
  • Ensure data accuracy for shipment submissions, support freight audit processes, and coordinate with outsourced audit partners and cross-functional teams to resolve delivery-related issues

BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE

Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing daily parcel execution, monitoring carrier performance, mitigating service failures, and translating transportation analytics into operational actions that improve delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and transportation cost efficiency.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Monitor on-time delivery performance trends across parcel carriers
  • Drive corrective action plans for recurring service failures
  • Oversee claims governance and resolution processes
  •  Manage service failure mitigation strategies
  • Translate carrier performance analytics into actionable operational improvements
  • Identify performance gaps impacting cost, service, or customer experience
  • Manage outsourced transportation audit partners (future state)
  • Ensure accuracy of shipment data submitted to Transportation Billing for invoicing
  • Support freight audit processes and validate carrier charges as needed
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure invoice accuracy and cost alignment
  • Ensure completion and maintenance of carrier performance scorecards
  • Monitor routing compliance across parcel shipments
  • Escalate recurring execution or service-level issues to leadership
  • Partner with Operations and Customer Service to resolve delivery-related concerns

 

Job Requirements 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in transportation management, ideally in the logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of transportation operations, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office applications

Work Environment:

  • Remote: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
