Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, including design and implementation of ME systems.
Strong knowledge of ME frameworks, methodologies, data collection techniques, and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

Deliver live online training on Monitoring and Evaluation concepts, methodologies, and best practices, facilitating weekly Zoom classes.
Create an engaging learning environment and guide participants to design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems.
Facilitate sessions in subjects including Strategy, Systems, Evidence Based Reporting, and Project Management, with regular reporting on progress (weekly).
Assess participant progress and provide feedback to support learning outcomes and coordinate with program stakeholders as needed.

Job description

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

The Course Facilitator in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plays a pivotal role in delivering training programs related to M&E concepts, methodologies, and best practices. They are responsible for creating an effective learning environment, guiding participants through the intricacies of M&E, and equipping them with the skills needed to design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems.

We are looking for experienced course facilitators to provide live online through weekly zoom classes in the following subjects:

Strategy
Systems
Evidence Based Reporting
Project management

Contract duration: 4-8 weeks

Contract start date: Please state the 4- 8week block/s you are available to deliver the

course/s you are applying to facilitate for (within the timeframe of 18th October - 18th

December 2023)

Level of effort: Up to 3 hours a week

Total level of effort: up to 8 weeks

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
