Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
CPA or other relevant certifications strongly preferred, but not required
Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Requirements:
Manage AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities
Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning with leadership

This is a remote position.
Location: Fully Remote (EST or CST Time Zone)
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience and certifications)
The Role
This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment. You’ll take ownership of our accounting operations—managing day-to-day activities, improving processes, and providing insights that drive decision-making. You’ll report directly to the CEO and have the unique opportunity to build an accounting function from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
Manage AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities
Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning with leadership
Establish scalable accounting processes and systems
Collaborate across teams to ensure financial accuracy and transparency
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
CPA or other relevant certifications strongly preferred, but not required
Experience in the MSP industry or a similar services-based business strongly preferred
Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Hands-on, proactive approach—you’re not afraid to dig into details
