Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Keyboard Teacher to conduct engaging online music classes for students of various age groups. The ideal candidate should have strong musical knowledge, teaching experience, and the ability to make learning fun and effective in an online setup.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interactive online keyboard classes for beginners and intermediate learners.

  • Teach music theory, scales, chords, rhythm patterns, and song performances.

  • Customize lessons based on each student’s learning pace and interests.

  • Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practice schedules.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Ensure punctuality and maintain a positive learning environment during online sessions.

  • Coordinate with the academic or admin team regarding class schedules and student updates.



Requirements

  • Minimum 1–5 years of experience in teaching keyboard or piano (online/offline).

  • Strong understanding of Western or Indian music theory.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

  • A degree or certification in Music (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to teach using digital pianos or MIDI keyboards.

    • Experience with music grading systems (e.g., Trinity, ABRSM) is an added advantage.

    • Enthusiasm for teaching and encouraging musical creativity in students.
