About the Role

Masai School, in academic collaboration with a premier institute, is seeking a Teaching Assistant (AI/ML - Telugu) to support its online Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning program.

This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about AI/ML education, learner mentorship, and can explain complex machine learning concepts clearly in Telugu. The Teaching Assistant will play a key role in improving learner understanding, engagement, and successful program completion.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Doubt-Solving & Tutorial Sessions

• Conduct or moderate weekly doubt-solving and Q&A sessions in Telugu.

• Explain AI/ML concepts, coding problems, and assignment requirements in a structured and learner-friendly manner.

• Support tutorial sessions by reinforcing concepts taught by faculty.

Q&A and Discussion Forum Support

• Provide timely and accurate responses to learner queries across discussion forums, live chats, and LMS platforms.

• Assist learners with Python coding, ML pipelines, and debugging notebooks.

Academic & Research Support

• Support the academic team by sharing real-world AI/ML use cases, tools, and industry trends.

• Help learners understand trade-offs in model selection, training, and evaluation.

Learner Engagement & Feedback

• Encourage active learner participation through continuous feedback and guidance.

• Track learner progress and escalate academic blockers to cohort managers.

• Collect learner feedback to improve content clarity and delivery effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

• Strong understanding of:

  • Data preprocessing and feature engineering

  • Supervised and unsupervised learning

  • Model evaluation metrics

  • Fundamentals of deep learning

• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as:

  • NumPy, Pandas

  • Scikit-learn

  • TensorFlow or PyTorch

• Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic support roles

• Strong instructional and technical communication skills in Telugu (spoken)

Good to Have

• Exposure to ML model deployment or production workflows

• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and LMS platforms

• Educational background from a reputed engineering institute or AI/ML program

Engagement Details

• Time Commitment: 6–8 hours per week

• Mode: Fully remote (online)

• Compensation: ₹8,000 – ₹10,000 per month
