8+ years of hands-on experience with PLM solution architecture and implementation
3-4 full Windchill PLM lifecycle implementations, with 1-2 as Lead Architect

Job description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced Windchill PLM Solution Architect to lead the architecture and implementation strategy of Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windchill PLM, deep knowledge of SAP integrations (preferably with SAP BTP & S/4HANA), and proven leadership experience in implementing enterprise-wide PLM solutions. This is a part-time remote position, offering flexibility while working on high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall Windchill PLM solution architecture and define implementation strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain solution blueprints, technical specifications, and architecture documentation.
Develop and guide best practices, standards, and methodologies for PLM architecture and development.
Define the system landscape and deployment strategy for Windchill PLM implementations.
Conduct technical risk assessments and provide actionable mitigation strategies.
Oversee and ensure compliance with architectural standards during solution development.
Lead architectural review sessions and technical decision-making processes.
Provide guidance to development teams, ensuring optimal integration and performance.
Drive the integration of PLM with SAP systems (BTP, S/4HANA) and other enterprise systems.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide leadership to technical teams.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience with PLM solution architecture and implementation.
Implementation Experience: At least 3-4 full life cycle implementations of Windchill PLM, with a minimum of 1-2 as a Lead Architect.
SAP Integration Expertise: Strong experience with SAP integration patterns, preferably with SAP BTP & S/4HANA.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of PLM-ERP integration architectures and enterprise architecture frameworks/methodologies.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in technical team management and stakeholder collaboration.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
Familiarity with emerging PLM technologies and tools.
Proven ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.
