Our Platform Engineering team exists to make building at Mosh feel effortless. We build and own our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), treating it like a product and our engineers like customers. That means a strong focus on developer experience, smoothing out rough edges, and taking cognitive load off individual contributors so they can focus on what matters most: shipping great outcomes for our members.

Platform at Mosh isn’t about gates or guardrails for the sake of it. It’s about enablement. We listen closely to our app developers, build tight feedback loops with all our stakeholders, and continuously evolve the platform based on real needs. Strong product thinking is core to how we work — understanding problems deeply, prioritising intentionally, and delivering solutions that genuinely make life easier.

What you'll do

• Design, build and evolve our Internal Developer Platform, leveraging Kubernetes, AWS and Infrastructure as Code, with security, scalability, and reliability as top priorities.
  Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, automating processes from code commit to deployment.
• Implement, monitor, and refine application and infrastructure observability—this includes establishing and fine-tuning alerting, logging, and metrics collection (e.g., DataDog).
• Work with the CTO and engineering teams to ensure our platform’s technical foundation remains robust and secure.
• You will fundamentally shape the engineering team’s vibe. Open feedback, good communication, and bias for action are a must.
• Help us build a high performance engineering culture based on trust, transparency and autonomy.

Experience you'll bring

• 8+ years' experience in Platforms 
• Comfortable to build platforms from scratch
• Strong in AWS/GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling
• Knowledge of observability solutions such as DataDog, Splunk, or similar
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working autonomously
• Opinionated about how to build platforms, but pragmatic about what's achievable at our scale
• Bonus: healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industry background
