Job description

About the role:

Being a strong player, Jan De Nul Group also needs a strong Financial Department. The department guarantees financial expertise to the entire group: from accounting, data controlling to bank guarantees and (international) taxation. The focus is on taking the correct financial decisions and managing and optimizing all financial processes. Together we make the difference!

 

Currently we are looking to expand our internal Tax team with an additional colleague Transfer Pricing Advisor, based in Capellen (Luxembourg) offices.

What you’ll do:

As a Transfer Pricing Advisor you will support projects for the various segments in which the JDN Group operates: dredging and marine works, civil and environmental and offshore works.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • You will be responsible for implementing an appropriate transfer pricing set-up based on a thorough knowledge of both the Jan De Nul standards and the internal legislation and requirements of various local project countries.
  • From the start of a project you will be responsible for respecting the arm's length principle in all intercompany transactions as well as the related intercompany contracts.
  • During the execution of projects you will coordinate transfer pricing returns and documentation. These files are centralized and you will provide an overview per country.
  • You will assist in tax inspections and audits in such a way that correct and well-founded answers are provided to control authorities.

You work from within our centralized offices in Capellen (Luxembourg) and are willing to travel for shorter trips to our projects worldwide.

 

What do you need?

You possess a Master degree in Commercial Engineering, Applied Economic Sciences or Commercial Sciences with at least 3 years of relevant work experience within a financial environment. You are able to communicate fluently in English, knowledge of Spanish is considered a plus. You are good with numbers and work accurately.

You are flexible and willing to make short trips abroad.
