The Director of Salesforce & Business Systems leads the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of our core business technology platforms, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce and CRM-driven operations. This role combines technical mastery with operational leadership, ensuring our systems scale efficiently as the company grows. The ideal candidate translates complex business needs into streamlined, data-driven solutions, enabling cross-functional teams to perform at their highest level.
Own the performance, optimization, and scalability of key platforms, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Tableau, Talkdesk, Gong, and other business-critical systems.
Serve as a hands-on technical leader: design, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance core business systems.
Develop and maintain a multi-year systems roadmap aligned with business objectives and future growth plans.
Lead major system implementations, migrations, and enterprise data initiatives from planning through execution.
Drive cross-functional projects, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations leadership to ensure alignment and success.
Establish governance standards for system administration, data integrity, and workflow management.
Continuously identify and resolve system inefficiencies, optimizing data pipelines, reporting structures, and automation.
Manage vendor relationships, including tool evaluation, contract negotiation, and technology recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
5+ years owning and managing critical business systems, with strong hands-on technical expertise.
Advanced Salesforce administration and optimization skills; Salesforce certifications highly preferred.
Proven success in major implementations, system migrations, and enterprise-level projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration across multiple business areas.
Highly technical, analytical, and data-driven, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Salesforce certifications (Sales Cloud, Administrator, Architect, or related specialties).
Hands-on experience with call center technologies such as Talkdesk.
Experience with enterprise analytics platforms like Tableau or Data Cloud.
Familiarity with sales and call analytics tools such as Gong.
Proven vendor management experience, including evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation.
