Job description

The Opportunity:

 Midi Health is looking for a Credentialing Specialist (Contractor) to help establish a foundation and best-practice workflows for our Licensing and Credentialing efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Licensing & Credentialing, this role will drive licensing and credentialing projects. The Credentialing Specialist (Contractor) will onboard and credential new hire providers in accordance with NCQA standards and timelines, meet with new hire providers in regular onboarding meetings, and assist with cross-licensing related efforts.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Credential providers by performing PSV of licensure and related credentials, in accordance with NCQA and Midi Health credentialing standards. 

  • Coordinate follow-up efforts to ensure providers meet their credentialing and onboarding timelines. 

  • Investigate and address any credentialing-related obstacles and issues accordingly.

  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding licensing and credentialing to internal stakeholders, including timely responses and status updates as needed.

  • Liaison between third-party vendors and Midi Health providers. 

  • Handle additional duties and ad hoc licensing projects as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years in licensing and credentialing

Experience working with providers, payors, and health systems (required)

  • Experience using credentialing databases (Verifiable/Salesforce preferred)

  • Experience submitting license applications for Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Doctors.

  • Experience onboarding providers to NCQA standards

  • Project Management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Rate of Pay: $35/hrFlexible Schedule

  • Please note this is a CONTRACT opportunity. The initial contract length is 2 months from the date of hire. A contract extension may be possible, contingent upon business needs.
