Summary:
ThinkOnward is seeking an experienced Subsurface Data Manager to ensure high-quality geoscience data is ready, reliable, and usable across complex subsurface projects. This role focuses on owning data readiness, governance, and issue resolution so project teams can operate efficiently.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and QA subsurface datasets in Petrel and ArcGIS environments
- Build, configure, and validate project data prior to launch
- Troubleshoot data, software, and transfer issues across teams
- Manage data governance, entitlements, licenses, and permissions
- Document workflows, fixes, and standards
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years subsurface data management experience
- Hands-on Petrel and ArcGIS experience
- Experience supporting geoscientists and technical project teams
- Familiarity with cloud or virtualized workflows
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- Broad subsurface software ecosystem exposure
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn and become productive with new subsurface and geoscience applications.
