Roles & Responsibilities

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP, including financial and technical aspects (SuiteScript 2.1, Web Services, etc.).
  • NetSuite Certification is highly preferred.

  • Triage and resolve system defects or incidents through internal teams or external vendors, maintaining clear communication with business users throughout the resolution process.

Job Title: IT Application Support Analyst (Hybrid of Finance and Technical Background)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Application Support Analyst with a strong blend of finance and technical expertise to join our global team. This role ensures the smooth operation, optimization, and availability of key business systems across Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, Learning & Development, and Customer Success functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical and functional support for internal business applications and systems, ensuring high-quality assistance and adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Support European business units, with specific experience in Italian localization preferred.

  • Perform routine system checks (daily, monthly, periodic) to maintain system health, maximize uptime, and ensure timely delivery of outputs.

  • Collaborate with technology teams to communicate software upgrades, patches, and troubleshoot application or system issues.

  • Triage and resolve system defects or incidents through internal teams or external vendors, maintaining clear communication with business users throughout the resolution process.

  • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation, including service catalogues and user guides.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with established safety controls.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing for new releases in coordination with release management and business stakeholders.

  • Communicate effectively with business users during incidents, outages, and maintenance windows.

  • Participate in Service Review and Operational Review meetings, including reporting and chairing sessions when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in application support for finance and business systems.

  • Proven experience supporting finance systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, Payhawk, and Concur, and HR systems such as BambooHR, JazzHR, or Papaya.

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP, including both financial and technical aspects (SuiteScript 2.1, Web Services, etc.).

  • NetSuite Certification is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • A strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
