Write functional specifications to translate business requirements into technical deliverables for the development team; develop and execute test scripts, and perform QA, unit, integration, and regression testing.
Collaborate with business users for UAT, deployment, post-go-live support, document best practices, and deliver user training; manage day-to-day project tasks and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Job description

NetSuite Functional Consultant

Location: Remote (Philippines-based talent supporting UK/EU clients)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Were looking for a highly consultative and self-sufficient NetSuite Functional Consultant to join our clients growing team. This role involves engaging with business users, identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and configuring NetSuite following SuiteSuccess methodology. The ideal consultant can confidently interact with clients in a strategic and consultative capacity not just a purely functional one.

You'll collaborate closely with multi-cultural teams, primarily supporting UK and EU markets, to ensure successful implementations and continuous system improvements.

Core Responsibilities

Participate in business process discovery by engaging with business
users to understand needs and challenges.
Identify process and system gaps against current configurations and leading practices.
Design and propose high-level and detailed process flows and solution workarounds.
Configure and customize NetSuite following SuiteSuccess methodology.
Write functional specifications to translate business requirements into technical deliverables for the development team.
Develop and execute test scripts; perform QA, unit, integration, and regression testing.
Collaborate with business users for UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Document best practices, prepare training materials, and deliver user training.
Manage day-to-day project tasks and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience working with NetSuite ERP.
Experience in at least 10+ full-cycle NetSuite implementations.
Strong background as an IT, Business, or Finance Consultant.
Hands-on experience with ARM (Advanced Revenue Management) and Multi-Book Accounting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking abilities.
Proven ability to work independently and manage client-facing discussions.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Experience working with multicultural teams.

Skills & Qualifications

NetSuite ERP Certification (preferred).
Familiarity with SuiteSuccess methodology.
CPA or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ARM and Multi-Book authorization certificates are an advantage.
Exposure to UK/EU markets and knowledge of tax configuration, UK
VAT, IFRS16, Revenue Recognition, and Transfer Pricing setup
in NetSuite
Strong consultative mindset able to extract requirements, guide clients strategically, and translate business needs into solutions.
