Strong experience designing, developing, and optimizing search queries for large data sets, preferably with Apache Solr
Proven experience leading architecture and delivering data-driven solutions in an agile environment
Experience working with clients to clarify requirements, build prototypes, and document enterprise architectures
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, quality practices, and staying current with industry trends

Requirements:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performing search queries for large amounts of data
Lead the architecture of information with the big-picture data domain in mind
Build solutions using an agile workflow; collaborate with team members to foster an agile culture and implement quality software practices

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performing search queries for large amounts of data
Develop solutions to extract meaning from large amounts of data efficiently
Analyze current technical environment for assigned projects; identify gaps & implement solutions for improvement, including optimization of queries and data pipelines
Lead the architecture of information with the big-picture data domain in mind
Build solutions using an agile workflow; collaborate with team members to build an agile culture
Incorporate quality software practices into all phases of the project lifecycle
Work directly with clients to clarify project scope, requirements, and build prototypes and proof of concepts
Document clients technical architecture and enterprise environment; maintain a current view of key services, capabilities, and processes
Stay up-to-date on the latest industry and technology trends, and look for ways to implement new ideas to continually improve the assigned projects
