Design, code, and test robust Bash or Python scripts from scratch to automate routine operational tasks, significantly reducing manual intervention and improving service consistency.
Lead the technical investigation for operational failures, driving the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and implementing verifiable, long-term fixes.
Take ownership of complex administration tasks related to DNS (Authoritative/Recursive), Routing, and enterprise Mail services (Postfix, Dovecot).

About Our Client

Are you a highly capable Linux engineer who wants to own technical problems end-to-end, drive automation, and mentor junior staff?

We are looking for an Intermediate Linux Automation Engineer ready to transition from execution to independent problem-solving and service improvement. Your primary focus will be optimizing workflows and mastering the automation stack.

Responsibilities

Provide expert, hands-on administration for production servers (RHEL/Ubuntu), focusing on Kernel tuning, deep boot processes, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime.
Design, code, and test robust Bash or Python scripts from scratch to automate routine operational tasks, significantly reducing manual intervention and improving service consistency.
Lead the technical investigation for operational failures, driving the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and implementing verifiable, long-term fixes.
Take ownership of complex administration tasks related to DNS (Authoritative/Recursive), Routing, and enterprise Mail services (Postfix, Dovecot).
Actively participate in peer-reviewing changes (Change Enablement) and provide technical guidance and training to Associate Engineers.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience in advanced Linux administration within a production environment.
Proven capability in writing clean, reliable automation code (not just executing existing scripts).
Deep technical knowledge of the Linux operating system from the hardware abstraction layer up.
Demonstrated experience in leading and documenting RCA and engaging in formal change control processes.
