KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. BUILDING AND MAINTAINING SERVER-SIDE AND FRONT-END FEATURES: As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing various features of the application, ensuring that they are functional, efficient, and meet the requirements of the business and customers. This includes working on both the server-side and front-end aspects of the application, utilizing your expertise in Java and related technologies to build robust and scalable solutions.
  2. WORKING CLOSELY WITH FRONTEND AND BACKEND ENGINEERS: As a Java Developer, you will be working closely with other engineers on the team, including frontend and backend developers, to ensure that the application is integrated seamlessly and meets the needs of the business and customers. This involves collaborating on code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure that the application is of high quality and meets the standards set by the team.
  3. COLLABORATING IN CODE REVIEW PROCESS: As a Java Developer, you will be an active participant in the code review process, working with other engineers to ensure that the code is of high quality and adheres to the standards set by the team. You will be responsible for reviewing code written by other engineers, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvements.
  4. TAKING OWNERSHIP OVER PARTS OF AN APPLICATION AND COLLABORATING ON GLOBAL ISSUES: As a Java Developer, you will be taking ownership over specific parts of the application, ensuring that they are functioning as expected and meeting the needs of the business and customers. You will also be collaborating with other engineers on the team to identify and address global issues that may arise, working together to find solutions and implement them effectively.

KEY EXPECTATIONS:

  • At least 3 years of working experience
  • Good knowledge of Java, SQL & Spring Framework
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL database
  • Experience in GIT
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns
  • Working in cross-discipline Agile team
  • Understanding of agile engineering practices (CI/CD, Code Review, TDD, Continuous Improvement)
  • Willingness to learn new frameworks

Nice to have skills and competences:

  • Knowledge of Mybatis
  • Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript/React/Angular
  • Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA
