Job description

An important network threat detection and cybersecurity monitoring company is looking for a passionate and talented Java Developer to join its team in Colombia or Brasil. 

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions that address our clients most complex security challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable and effective software solutions.

What will you do in this role?

  • Analyze client requirements, business goals, and operational environments to design appropriate technical solutions.

  • Develop and implement software solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

  • Collaborate with product managers, security analysts, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and the continuous improvement of our development processes.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cybersecurity and software engineering.

What should you bring?

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.

  • Advanced English level (B2-C1) for written and verbal communication.

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and data structures.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in dynamic environments.

  • Knowledge or experience in cybersecurity will be considered a plus.
