Remote | Outsource Ability (on behalf of our client, a UK‑based e‑commerce brand)
Outsource Ability is seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Marketing to support our client, a fast‑growing e‑commerce brand based in the United Kingdom. This role is ideal for a creative, analytical, and operational marketing leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident working directly with founders and cross‑functional teams.
The successful candidate will lead the brands marketing strategy, creative direction, and performance execution. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, shaping customer journeys, and managing all marketing activities end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Work directly with the founder to define, implement, and scale the overall marketing and brand strategy.
- Provide leadership to the marketing function, ensuring alignment with company goals and commercial priorities.
- Coordinate cross‑functional efforts to ensure cohesive brand execution across all touchpoints.
Brand & Creative Direction
- Oversee and develop the creative strategy for the brand, including storytelling, positioning, and campaign concepts.
- Maintain and elevate brand identity, ensuring consistency across digital platforms and marketing assets.
- Lead content planning and creative production cycles, from brief to delivery.
Team & Project Coordination
- Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to execute campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Manage workflows, prioritise tasks, and ensure smooth coordination across stakeholders.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to support team performance and efficiency.
Performance Marketing & Growth
- Oversee key marketing funnels and customer acquisition strategies across paid and organic channels.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimisation, and report on key KPIs.
- Leverage data insights to inform strategic decisions and refine marketing approaches.
E‑commerce Marketing
- Develop and enhance customer journeys tailored to an e‑commerce environment.
- Support product launches, promotions, and brand activations.
- Ensure marketing initiatives align with customer needs, market trends, and commercial objectives.
Required Experience & Skills
Professional Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role within digital marketing.
- Minimum of 4 years experience working in digital marketing within an e‑commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of creative strategy, brand development, and digital performance marketing.
- Experience using AI tools to generate marketing materials and automate marketing processes is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with founders or senior leadership.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical ability with experience using data to drive decision‑making.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Technical & Equipment Requirements
