Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 2.5 years of marketing experience, with preference for candidates in music or creative industries.
  • Proficiency in social media management and Meta ads, with ability to create engaging content and analyze campaign performance.
  • Proficiency with Mailchimp, Google Docs/Sheets, Asana, and AI tools like ChatGPT; quick learner of new platforms; familiarity with metadata tagging and UPC/ISRC tracking for digital music releases is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills with excellent verbal and written communication; ability to draft press releases and coordinate with media outlets.

  • Social Media Management: manage and monitor platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook), respond to comments and DMs to ensure timely, professional engagement.
  • Meta Ads Management: execute Meta ads for playlists according to strategy, boost posts on Facebook and Instagram, track performance metrics, and provide insights.
  • Promotional Research and Growth Metrics: research playlists, radio promos, and other opportunities; compile findings into detailed reports and monitor platform statistics using Google Sheets/Docs.
  • Press Release Coordination and Marketing Campaigns: draft press releases, distribute to media contacts, manage release submissions, and develop campaigns to grow email lists and follower engagement.

Job Requirements:

  • Industry Experience Preferred: Minimum of 2.55 years of marketing experience, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with the music industry or creative fields.
  • Social Media & Advertising Expertise: Proven ability to manage social media accounts, run Meta ads, create engaging content, and analyze campaign performance metrics effectively.
  • Proficiency with Tools: Skilled in Mailchimp, Google Docs/Sheets, Asana, and AI tools like ChatGPT, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new platforms. 
  • Familiarity with metadata tagging and UPC/ISRC tracking for digital music releases is a plus. 
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for detail and a strong ability to track, document, and report on promotional activities and growth metrics.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: Proactive and independent thinker capable of generating innovative ideas and managing complex tasks effectively. 
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including drafting professional press releases and coordinating with media outlets.

Core responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Manage and monitor social media platforms (IG, FB, etc.), responding to comments, DMs, and interactions to ensure timely and professional engagement with followers. 
  • Meta Ads Management: Execute Meta ads for playlists based on provided strategies, including boosting posts on FB and IG. 
  • Track performance metrics, flag key statistics, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Promotional Research and Reporting: Research playlists, radio stations, and other promotional opportunities using tools provided.
  • Filter, compile, and document relevant findings into detailed reports to aid decision-making. 
  • Growth Metrics Tracking: Monitor and document platform statistics (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, website) using Google Sheets and Docs. 
  • Provide regular updates and insights to inform strategy and measure campaign success.
  • Press Release Coordination: Draft press releases for approval and distribute them to media outlets and promotional contacts.
  • Follow up as needed to ensure maximum exposure. 
  • Release Submission: Submit new music releases to promotional platforms using provided materials and details, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. 
  • Marketing Promotions Development: Research and propose innovative marketing campaigns to drive email list growth, enhance follower engagement, and align with brand goals.
  • Develop strategies to grow the email list and execute email marketing campaigns that align with ongoing album promotions and future releases. 
  • SEO Optimization: Conduct SEO analysis and optimization for the website to drive traffic and increase email list engagement.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve visibility and search engine ranking. 
  • Trend Monitoring and Strategy Suggestions: Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes for social media platforms. 
  • Proactively recommend innovative strategies and solutions tailored to the music industry.
