Position Overview

The Software Product Owner (SaaS) leads the definition, prioritization, and delivery of software features and system enhancements aligned with Input 1’s business goals. This role serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders, clients, and development teams—ensuring solutions are clearly defined, technically sound, and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, define, and document functional requirements for new features and enhancements
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize work based on business impact, strategy, and resource availability
  • Partner with development and QA teams throughout the full product lifecycle
  • Participate in testing and validation to ensure solutions meet expectations
  • Build domain expertise in insurance and premium finance
  • Act as the central point of contact for feature scope, status, and post-release evaluation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or software delivery roles
  • Strong experience with requirements elicitation and documentation
  • Proven experience working with SaaS or enterprise software products
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Postman, MS Word, and Excel
  • Experience in insurance, premium finance, or financial services preferred
