Requirements:

  • Lead small to medium projects or portions of larger projects independently, applying expertise in lighting and power design, NEC compliance, and energy codes; solve complex design challenges with minimal supervision and provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams
  • Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit; train team members on company standards and electrical design principles, including NEC and other national codes
  • Collaborate with Architects and Engineers to develop construction documents; perform high-level quality control; manage project budgets; maintain direct client contact
  • Perform photometric calculations, lighting system and controls design, fault current calculations, and 1-Line diagrams; may serve as Engineer of Record on select projects

Electrical Engineer II

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to independently lead small to medium projects or portions of larger projects, applying expertise in lighting and power design, NEC compliance, and energy codes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in retail projects, be proficient in photometric calculations, lighting systems, controls, fault current calculations, and 1-Line diagrams, and be able to solve complex design challenges with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills are essential to provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

We are seeking a skilled Engineer proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, capable of training team members on company standards and electrical design principles, including NEC and other national codes. The role involves collaborating with Architects and Engineers to develop construction documents, performing high-level quality control, managing project budgets, and maintaining direct client contact. Candidates may serve as Engineer of Record on select projects and should be licensed in up to five states. Strong technical expertise, leadership, and effective communication are essential to ensure project success.
