Roles & Responsibilities

Minimum of ten (10) years of software engineering and DevOps experience
Experience designing and implementing end-to-end continuous delivery pipelines

Experience and understanding of SRE principles for highly scalable and reliable systems

Requirements:

Lead Operations and Site Reliability Engineering initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, and performance for the client environment
Design and implement end-to-end continuous delivery pipelines to enable rapid and safe software releases
Apply SRE principles to maintain highly available production systems in AWS and drive reliability improvements
Champion configuration management and Infrastructure as Code to automate deployment, configuration, and operations

Operations/Site Reliability Engineering Lead
Client: USCIS
Remote Role
US Citizens only

Additionally, one of our key personnel has failed the client acceptance and we need a Client cleared KP by Tuesday 11/8 (all interviews completed) as a replacement. I have highlighted key areas they are pointing out below.

Here is the requirement, which can also be found in the PWS.

Operations/Site Reliability Engineering Lead
- Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of software engineering and DevOps experience

Shall have experience in designing and implementing end to end continuous delivery pipelines
Shall have deep AWS cloud experience in a production environment (e.g. network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies)
Shall have experience and understanding in SRE principles for highly scalable and reliable systems
Shall have strong experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code
Shall have, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering or other STEM related degree
