Senior Project Manager - Cloud Platform Applications and Non Prod Migration
Reporting to the AVP, Cloud Program Manager, this position manages the delivery of projects for the Infrastructure PMO within the ACE North America Information Technology Services (ITS) area. The Senior Project Manager - Cloud Platform Applications and Non Prod Migration is in a dynamic cross-functional execution team in the IT Infrastructure Cloud portfolio to support Program team, for application migrations and Non Prod environments to Azure Cloud Platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Project Management in a dynamic cross-functional execution team in the IT Infrastructure Cloud portfolio to support Program team, for application migrations and Non Prod on prem environments to Azure Cloud Platform.
• Work with multiple teams to validate migration requirements for applications, identify and address findings from gap analysis, ensure that data masking use cases are captured and actioned, and escalate related issues and risks with program team for timely mitigations.
• Managing roadmap planning and timelines, change control process and workflow, and related Sprint planning for Non Prod migration targets with Product owner, Program manager and Scrum teams.
• Partner with Application PM (s), DBA, Data Security, Informatica Test Data Management (TDM) data masking SME's for Non Prod to Cloud migrations within established guidelines.
• Assist with operationalizing Cloud platform migration completions and relevant artifacts for turnover from Engineering /Infrastructure Builds to Run/Ops teams
• Project tracking leveraging Agile / Jira execution, such as documenting deliverable requirements via Jira Epics and User Stories, user story development, logging and assigning dependencies and risks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum five years of direct project management experience in a transformational IT Infrastructure environment with Cloud Engineering, Cloud platform migrations, Application analysis.
• Directly managed IT Infrastructure deployment, Application rationalization & Migration on Azure or AWS Cloud platforms and related implementations, for end to end discovery, planning , development and execution with cross functional teams for server migration from on prem data centers to Cloud platform.
• Experienced in building and driving an Application Migration rationalization pipeline, Non Prod/Prod migration roadmap planning, data security remediation and validation support (preferably using Informatica / TDM, VTS and such tools).
• Solid business analysis skills and aptitude for IT Cloud Infrastructure and technologies, Data security management, requirements & scope management, resolution tracking.
• Interest and Ability to incorporate directions and execute in alignment with program direction and scope in a highly dynamic portfolio.
• Experienced with driving awareness for timely mitigation of issues or risks that could impact scope, budget, and/or timeline.
• Exposure to multiple project management methodologies and tools including Agile, Jira and MSFT Tools.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
• Experience managing projects in one or more of the following areas:
o Data Center Consolidations with migration to Cloud Platforms (preferably Azure)
o Cloud Computing
o DR/High Availability
o Server OS Upgrades
o Virtual Servers
o Virtual Desktops
o Experience managing infrastructure projects assessment and planning
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with multiple teams
