Role: SAP CutOver Lead Location: Remote…North East preferred. Local to MA would be awesome if possible, but not mandatory. Should be ok with travel when required to Germany. Duration: 6 Months+
Main purpose of the position is to lead, define & execute technical cutover for a S/4HANA Greenfield implentation which includes CLoud Intergation Suite in BTP as a Middleware and a non-SAP Cloud Manufacturing System:
Job responsibility:
• Lead & define Overall cutover strategy to be followed.
• Lead planning for all Cutover activities for Mock Tech Cutover, Mock loads (all Data mig activities), Dress Rehearsal across systems (QA, PP & Prod).
• Primary point of contact for teams to reach out for any questions/clarifications on Cutover topic - process, details of tasks, direction to be followed, etc.
• Work with deployment team closely to ensure the overall Deployment-Cutover strategy is defined and execution smoothly.
• Ensure to work closely to Cutover leads to plan all the key workshops for various Cutover activities and track all topics are covered.
• Work with the Cutover Core team to assess potential impacts to the timeline based on remaining tasks.
• Project Plan tasks (Planning phase, During Cutover & Hypercare)
• Own the Integrated Cutover plan and execute it during Mocks, DR and Cutover.
• Review and identify any possible changes required to the Cutover Plan tasks and dependencies
• Update the cutover plan to reflect progress, actual durations and dependencies
• Be able to make quick assessments for any potential impacts to the overall Cutover schedule.
• Issues/Error related Tasks (During Cutover/Hypercare):
1) Ensure that all issues/errors are recorded and all critical issues.
2) Escalate all critical issues to leadership in timely fashion.
Qualifications / Requirements • Ability to work collaboratively across project teams • Proficient in written & spoken English • Knowledge of integration points between business processes • Solves highly complex problems within their work team • Knowledge or experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: MS Project, SAP deployments/project deployment experience
