Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Cerner HL7/EMR/EHR application enhancement/support
Hands-on experience with HL7 interfaces, CCL, XML, JavaScript and Cerner OpenLink
Strong troubleshooting skills with Oracle Cerner Millennium, including PLSQL, log analysis, querying Cerner tables/files, and server cycling
Experience with Cerner implementation, upgrade, and ongoing maintenance/support projects

Requirements:

Design, develop, and support HL7 interfaces and Cerner OpenLink/CCL-based solutions for EMR/EHR modules
Troubleshoot and resolve defects in Cerner Millennium EMR/EHR modules (Ambulatory, Ancillary, Inpatient, Reporting) using back-end methods and log analysis
Participate in Cerner implementation, upgrade, and ongoing maintenance/support projects
Maintain and monitor XML-based interfaces and HL7 inbound/outbound interfaces to ensure data integrity

Description

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience Cerner application & enhancement support
who have HL7, CCL, JavaScript, (EMR and EHR) working experience.
Hands on experience in Technical troubleshooting - Oracle Cerner Millennium products
Good experience in PLSQL / perform troubleshooting using back-end methods by capturing log files, Querying Oracle Cerner tables/files, updating database fields and updating / Cycling servers
Possess Technical skills - Cerner Open link, XML, HL7 Interface (Inbound/Outbound), Perl scripting, Cerner command language [CCL], JavaScript, Cerner message center
Ability to resolve defects in EMR and EHR modules of Cerner like Ambulatory, Ancillary, inpatient, reporting.
Experience in Cerner Implementation / Upgrade / Ongoing Support & Maintenance projects.
