Hands-on experience with testing ETL processes and data warehouses, including DBT and Snowflake or similar databases.
Strong SQL skills with experience testing SQL reports (including paginated reports) and understanding of stored procedures/PL/SQL (coding skills nice to have).
Experience documenting QA efforts (acceptance criteria, source-target mapping, RTM, test plans, test cases, test results, bug reporting) and data profiling and test data preparation, including migration projects.
Ability to work independently as a full QA resource and adapt to multiple teams, with experience across functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Requirements:
Plan, design, and execute QA testing for ETL/data warehouse solutions, covering functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Validate data quality across ETL pipelines, perform data profiling, prepare test data, and verify data transformations and reporting outputs.
Create and maintain QA artifacts such as acceptance criteria, source-target mappings, RTM, test plans, test cases, test results, and bug reports, including migration-related QA activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, BI, product) and work independently as a full QA resource while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure traceability and timely delivery.
