Client: Cloud Infrastructure Provider (Name to be shared later)
Location: Remote (Must work PST hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST, 8-hour shift)
Duration - Contract
US Citizens, GC visa holders preferred, NO third party corp to corp accepted for this job



Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network LAN Support Engineer with strong expertise in network security and LAN environments. This role will focus primarily on firewall management and LAN support while also handling core routing, switching, load balancing, and related network infrastructure tools. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep technical knowledge of network security and LAN technologies, capable of supporting mission-critical cloud and enterprise environments

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in LAN and network security engineering.
  • Strong expertise in firewall administration and security policies.
  • Solid knowledge of routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, etc.).
  • Experience with load balancer technologies (F5, Citrix, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Cisco Client, Duo, and other network security/authentication tools.
  • Experience working with or supporting Linux servers in a network context.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in LAN environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently during PST business hours
