Job Title: Technical Architect - eCommerce Integration and Payment Gateway (ELAVON)

Job Overview:
We seek an experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in integrating eCommerce platforms and a deep understanding of payment gateways, specifically ELAVON. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that enhance our eCommerce architecture and payment processing capabilities. Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect integration solutions for eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless interaction with various internal and external systems.

Lead the integration of the ELAVON payment gateway, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient transaction processing.

Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Evaluate current systems and recommend architectural improvements to optimize performance, scalability, and security.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, especially in eCommerce architecture and payment gateway integration.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for payment processing and data security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on eCommerce platforms.

Hands-on experience with payment gateway integration, particularly ELAVON.

Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions.

Proficiency in system architecture, software development, and integration design patterns.

Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and API management.

Strong understanding of security best practices in payment processing and data handling.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the retail or financial services industry.

Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance and related security frameworks.

Experience with microservices architecture and DevOps practices.
