Job Title: Remote Medicare Sales Agent

Position Type:

Independent Contractor (1099)
Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 – March 31, 2026
Continuation may be offered based on performance beginning April 1, 2026.


Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and experienced Remote Medicare Sales Agents to assist clients with enrolling in Medicare Advantage and related health plans. This is a seasonal, remote position where agents will handle inbound and outbound calls, guide customers through plan options, and ensure accurate enrollments.


Compensation Structure:

1. Hourly Pay

  • Base Rate: $21.00 per hour (based on a 35-hour work week).
  • If weekly hours fall below 35, compensation adjusts to $16.00/hour (part-time rate).
  • Overtime: Hours worked beyond 40 per week are paid at 1.5x the hourly rate.
  • Daily Bonus: After 7 billable hours in a single day, agents receive an additional 8th hour of pay at no extra time worked.

2. Commission Pay

Commissions are earned for each placed enrollment:

  • $65.00 per completed enrollment for eligible Medicare Advantage carriers.
  • $20.00 per placed Health Care Company PPO plan.
  • $40.00 per placed enrollment for all other qualifying plans.

Note:

  • Same-carrier plan replacements do not qualify for commissions.
  • Commission values are subject to change prior to January 1, 2026, based on carrier updates.

3. Commission Schedule & Performance Incentives

  • Commissions are paid on the last Friday of January 2026.
  • Placement Rate Requirements:
    • 70% or higher placement: Full commission payout.
    • 69% or lower placement: No commission payout.
  • Chargeback Policy: If an enrollment is canceled or falls off within 4 months of the effective date, the corresponding commission will be deducted from future commissions. Agents will be notified promptly of any chargeback adjustments.

Work Schedule:

  • Hours of Operation: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST.
  • Expected Hours: 35 hours per week (minimum requirement for full-time rate).
  • No Paid Time Off (PTO) is provided.

Contract Details:

This is a remote, independent contractor position. Agents are responsible for managing their own taxes and equipment. No employee benefits are provided.
