Job Summary: The Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining robust data processing solutions within our healthcare analytics platform. This role focuses on developing T-SQL stored procedures, managing data transformations, and supporting our reporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings 8-10 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server and T-SQL development, with a passion for working with healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain T-SQL stored procedures for data processing and transformation
Design and optimize SQL Server databases for healthcare analytics workflows
Build data extraction and transformation processes using raw T-SQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Support data quality initiatives and troubleshoot data processing issues
Learn and utilize myDBR reporting tool for creating reports and visualizations
Assist in developing healthcare claims processing workflows and data validation
Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for data processes
Monitor and optimize database performance for large healthcare datasets
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
8-10 years of experience in data engineering or database development
Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL programming
Experience writing complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Solid understanding of database design principles and optimization techniques
Experience with data transformation and ETL processes using T-SQL
