Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant – Billing with a strong understanding of aviation revenue streams, flight-related billing, and cost validation. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements in an aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities Billing & Revenue Accounting
Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices related to aviation operations, including:
Flight operations
Charter services
Handling, landing, navigation, parking, and overflight charges
Ensure billing is in line with contracts, tariffs, approvals, and regulatory requirements.
Verify quantities, flight details, sectors, aircraft type, MTOW, and operational data used for billing.
Apply correct currency, exchange rates, taxes, and surcharges.
Perform revenue recognition, accruals, and deferrals in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Reconcile revenue, receivables, unbilled revenue, and deferred revenue accounts.
