Responsibilities:

  • Assist medical professionals with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance matters.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate and empathetic responses.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Prepare and update medical documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to organize virtual medical consultations.
  • Perform basic medical research and assist in creating medical content.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Secretary, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using medical software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable with virtual communication tools such as Zoom or Skype.
  • High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer setup.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant certification or related healthcare certification.
  • Previous experience with telemedicine platforms.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient data privacy.
