Job Purpose Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our Global Supply Chain organization. This position is fully dedicated to purchasing and procurement execution in support of our medical device operations.

The Senior Buyer is responsible for procuring materials, expediting and prioritizing supplier shipments, and aligning supplier execution to the business’ most urgent needs based on backorder recovery and revenue projections. This role will also support strategies to reduce total inventory while maintaining service continuity and require strong day-to-day collaboration and communication with suppliers.

Success in this role requires an advanced understanding of MRP/ERP planning logic, including net requirements calculations and how system signals translate into real operational priorities. The Senior Buyer must be able to interpret MRP outputs critically, identify what is truly urgent, and drive suppliers to focus on the highest-impact item avoiding reactive expediting that does not improve service or revenue outcomes.

This position is a key partner to Supply Planning, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Quality, and Finance to protect supply continuity and support business growth. A critical aspect of the role is maintaining excellent communication with Sales and Distribution Center teams to improve revenue attainment and accelerate backorder reduction through clear prioritization and timely execution.

The ideal candidate brings a strong procurement mindset and a passion for process improvement and standardization in a global/virtual environment. They are comfortable working cross-functionally, can flex to collaborate across US and European time zones as needed, and can lead change in purchasing execution to improve speed, clarity, and results.

This position is 100% remote, based in the UK with occasional international travel
